    Q.1 Can I use my existing marketing materials?

    Absolutely. Any original materials you've created yourself such as text and graphics may be re-purposed for inclusion in any projects.

    Q.2 What kind of custom graphics can Z-axis create?

    Though this is a broad question, the answer is just as broad, pretty much anything. Our capabilities are extensive and only limited by your imagination.

    Q.3 Is it okay to use materials from other sources such as the public library?

    If the material is subject to copyright by a third party, a release must be obtained and supplied to Z-axis Design stating permission has been granted by the originator of the materials to use in your project.

  2. Copyright & Intangible Property Ownership

    Q.1 Do I own the Copyright to works created by Z-axis Design for me?

    Yes. All works, excluding "source files" resulting from the client retaining Z-axis Design under contract belong to you.

    Q.2 Who owns the source files used to create my content?

    Source files are considered the intangible property of Z-axis Design. Source files often contain and reveal proprietary techniques used by Z-axis Design to create your content. It is professional courtesy not to expect Z-axis Design to release source files even though some laws claim the client is granted ownership of such files as the result of a work for hire agreement. Therefor, we clearly state this as an amendment to those laws. If you hire Z-axis Design, you will be required to agree that all source files remain the exclusive property of Z-axis Design.

    Q.3 Have you ever released source files under any circumstances?

    Yes, but not often, and only under very restrictive usage guidelines as to how the files may be used. A surcharge is required as well for the procurement of the source files. Under no circumstances can the files ever be sold or transferred to a third party external of such an agreement with Z-axis Design.

    Q.1 Can I visit the offices of Z-axis Design?

    Z-axis Design operates and maintains a substantial equipment and software production environment that is not always suitable for professional meetings with clientele depending on our scheduled workload. Often the work being done contains confidential information related to customers who prefer we didn't expose their information to any other third parties without their permission. Along with the sensitive nature of our customer information we often utilize and employ proprietary techniques and methods that may or may not be common knowledge in our industry among not only our client's but our competitors as well. Still, visits can be arranged and are accommodated on an appointment basis only as we do not allow walk in traffic.

    Q.2 Can I trust a company that does not allow me to walk in it's front door or allow a public visitation?

    Completely. Our references are impeccable and are provided upon request.

    Q.3 Does Z-axis Design warranty it's work?

    All work will be completed to the customer's satisfaction per the scope description as outlined in the accepted proposal. If ever you feel that any detail, no matter how small, is unsatisfactory for any reason, we will change it to better please you. Your satisfaction is of paramount concern to us at Z-axis Design and will never be compromised by an unwillingness to make the necessary changes to any project.
